The cost was reasonable and the location easy to access and convenient for activities in the area. The free shuttle service was an added bonus.
Paying extra for parking every day. One day we had no housekeeping service so the room was unmade when we returned in the evening. Disappointing to discover at 10:00 pm at night.

The package deal was GREAT! The food was also good. Most of all the Shuttle Service to the Mall and FREE PARKING! I definately will be going again. Booking with Booked.net was my first time. I will definately be referring my family and friends to this great on line service. It was easy and excellent everything was on point!

The people who work for Marriott are always the best. We have been staying at Marriott hotels forever. Not until a few years ago did I learn about getting points for staying. This trip we had an incrediable stay. The bed was wonderful. The front desk people calmed us down after we arrived. We had a bad experience with the GPS and all the construction, no street lights, not knowing the area better. Took us 2 hours to find the hotel from Reagan airport. DC is not user friendly.....neither was the Garmin GPS.
King size pillows would be nice.

easy access to parks and shopping makes weekend fun
i found this hotel's proximity to multiple parks, like tysons pimmit park just over a kilometer away and the galleria at tysons shopping center practically a short stroll made it so easy for me to enjoy leisurely walks around the area and discover some nice landmarks that even led to great dining options nearby, while providing a comfortable place to return after a day of exploring, but navigating the traffic can be a bit of a hassle.

The room is very clean and comfy. It's close to the malls and subway which is accessible to Tourist spots both in DC and Virginia. So ideal place to have a weekend break to explore the area ;)

Would recommend for a stopover
Cozy bed, convenient location, we enjoyed a quick walk to a nearby restaurant and found the metro just a 10-15 minute stroll away, making our exploration of the area easy with the access to public transportation.

Our stay was exceptional. Ms. Monsur, the desk clerk, was very professional. She was warm and friendly and projected a real sense of interest and anxious to accomodate our basis needs. She took the initiative to suggest a room that had recently intalled a fresh air system which definitely aided our comfort level throughout our stay. She had knowledge of the area and when asked ...recommened a seafood restaurant which we supped at later. The suttle service was very accomodating and the service was very timely. The room was bright and receptive. Our stay at the Merriott justr topped off a wonderful weekend.
Although when booking these arrangements, I understood in advance that the room at the competive rate that Bookings reserved for us did not include any food or beverage service ... never-the-less, I missed not having access to free coffee in the lobby when I went down to pick up the morning paper. Not a big deal, it is something that you get ucomfortable with in all the years that I've been traveling and stayhing in hotels and motels.
